Antillón is a small municipality located in the region of La Hoya de Huesca, in the autonomous community of Aragón. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of approximately 120 inhabitants.
As for its gastronomy, Antillón's cuisine is based on Aragonese tradition, with dishes such as grilled veal, roast lamb, roast shoulder of lamb, garlic soup and migas (fried breadcrumbs). As for desserts, the highlights are hojuelas and huesillos.
As for wine, Antillón is part of the Somontano DO, which produces high quality red and white wines, made mainly from local grapes such as Garnacha, Tempranillo and Macabeo.
As for its cultural heritage, Antillón has several buildings of historical and artistic interest, such as the parish church of San Pedro Apóstol, built in the 17th century and with a Baroque altarpiece, as well as the hermitage of San Roque, in Romanesque style. The town is also located in a privileged natural setting, with the Sierra de Guara and the river Alcanadre nearby, making it an ideal place for hiking and other outdoor sports.
